Simple Pleasures

Another day is coming to a close~ it was a good day.

This morning I went to breakfast with a friend. We enjoyed good conversation and good food. She is really an uplifting person. She also has some really great ideas that I am enjoying talking with her about.

Today we talked a lot about home decor, making things pretty and such. She just had her livingroom and diningroom repainted. Along with the new paint job she bought some new furniture to go with it too. A cool thing about her redecorating her home is that she is sharing some of her "old" stuff.

I am excited to be getting a painting that she has. It is a nice big piece with wonderful colors that I am pleased with adding into my home. It is a piece I wouldn't be able to afford right now, so having it gifted really is awesome. It is also inspiring me to get my budget back under control so I can finish the decorating I started and make it the home I want it to be for my family.

Home really is where the heart is and to have it be a warm comforting place to be is truly one of the best gifts I can give my babies.

Simple little pleasure of making a home for my family brings me so much joy....
